Alliston at Home Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill McCaffrey as the new Chairman of the Board. Bill, previously an executive advisor on the Alliston at Home board of directors, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to his new role.
Bill McCaffrey co-founded McCaffrey Energy Group in early 1999, later renamed MEG Energy. Under his guidance, MEG Energy grew to become a mid-sized Canadian oil sands producer, achieving a production milestone of nearly 100,000 barrels per day before his retirement in 2018. Bill’s contributions to the industry have been widely recognized, earning him the titles of E&Y’s Entrepreneur of the Year (Prairie Region) and CEO of the Year at the C-Suite Energy Executive Awards in 2014. In 2015, he was honored with an appointment to the Saskatchewan Oil Patch Hall of Fame.

In addition to this appointment, Alliston at Home announces further leadership transitions. Chris Bourassa will continue in his role as Chief Executive Officer, while Doug Owens, COO will take on the expanded role of President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). These changes reflect our commitment to strong leadership and our focus on delivering exceptional value to our clients and stakeholders.
We would also like to advise that Hal Walker, our former Chairman, has retired from the Alliston Board.
