Position Summary

To proactively support, champion and execute Alliston at Home’s Sales and Marketing development goals. This role exists to coordinate with the marketing department on sales strategies, generate sales velocity and oversee the management of these efforts.

Key Responsibilities

This is a managerial level position reporting to the Sales Manager and is responsible for oversight of the Sales strategy development and execution for the community. This position is accountable for developing prospects and converting them to sales via relationship building, consistent follow up and addressing clients’ questions in a timely manner. This position is responsible for customer service from initial contact through to possession of their home.

Sales goals will be achieved by anticipating market needs, effectively applying a cohesive marketing strategy and consistently generating prospects. Marketing strategies will be developed in conjunction with the Marketing Team and will include print and social media, community involvement and other avenues as identified through research.

Experience and Requirements

Candidates will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience with solid track record in New Home Sales
  • Ability to read and understand all plans, blueprints, grade slips, specifications and associated construction documents
  • Experience with Homefront
  • Solid understanding of residential construction practices and terms as well as New Home Warranty
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills while working with official documents and correspondence
  • Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
  • Good time management
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Sincere desire to provide “top of class” support and customer service
  • Ability to work competently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong training and coaching skills

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in technical sales
  • Previous industry experience
